The Einstein Toolkit is an open source tool that can be used to perform fully general relativistic magnetohydrodynamic simulations.
Here I provide you with a simple tutorial that can be used to download and install the Einstein Toolkit modules necessary in order to run a simple TOV simulation (for a full Einstein Toolkit installation refer to the Einstein Toolkit documentation). The tutorial requires ~3GB of disk space and it can run on a laptop. The tutorial is available via a jupyter notebook and it uses version ET_2019_03 of the Einstein Toolkit. You need therefore to have jupyter installed on your machine: http://jupyter.org. The notebook can also be viewed at this address.
The tutorial works on Linux Ubuntu and macOS. It should work also on any other Linux distribution. If you use Windows, I suggest that you install an Ubuntu virtual machine using VirtualBox and allocate 20GB of space to it.
