I am a former computational astrophysicist. I have worked for more than 20 years in the field of numerical relativity and gravitational wave astronomy. In particular I was the main developer of the fully general relativistic magnetohydrodynamic (GRMHD) codes WhiskyMHD and Spritz.
I used these codes to study several astrophysical phenomena, such as gamma-ray bursts, binary neutron stars, and accretion processes on supermassive binary black hole mergers.
