The Einstein Toolkit is an open source tool that can be used to perform fully general relativistic magnetohydrodynamic simulations.

It comes with a simple tutorial that can be run remotely or locally on your laptop. To run it locally, you can download it via git: git clone https://github.com/nds-org/jupyter-et.git

This will create a jupyter-et directory and within it you will find the jupyter notebook CactusTutorial.ipynb which contains the tutorial.

The tutorial works on Linux, macOS, and Windows 10 (via the Windows Subsystem for Linux). If you use Windows, you may also install an Ubuntu virtual machine using VirtualBox and allocate 20GB of space to it.
