{"id":522,"date":"2019-06-22T13:28:18","date_gmt":"2019-06-22T13:28:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.brunogiacomazzo.org\/?p=522"},"modified":"2019-06-22T13:28:18","modified_gmt":"2019-06-22T13:28:18","slug":"einstein-toolkit-and-tcan-workshops-at-rit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.brunogiacomazzo.org\/?p=522","title":{"rendered":"Einstein Toolkit and TCAN Workshops at RIT"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This week I participated at two very interesting workshops at the <a href=\"https:\/\/ccrg.rit.edu\/\">Rochester Institute of Technology<\/a>: the <a href=\"https:\/\/ccrg.rit.edu\/content\/events\/2019-06-17\/north-american-einstein-toolkit-workshop-2019\">Einstein Toolkit<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/ccrg.rit.edu\/content\/events\/2019-06-19\/tcan-advancing-computational-methods-understand-dynamics-ejection\">TCAN meeting<\/a>. I gave a talk on wednesday presenting some applications of my WhiskyMHD code to <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/open?id=1RIZqN6OS1uShh4h7gpP_6F094sUDf9bq\">binary neutron star mergers<\/a> (below you can find the YouTube video of my talk).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Both workshops were successful and with very interesting discussions about the future of the <a href=\"https:\/\/einsteintoolkit.org\/\">Einstein Toolkit<\/a> and our plan for the next year of our <a href=\"https:\/\/ccrg.rit.edu\/content\/grants\/2018\/manuela-campanelli-rit\/advancing-computational-methods-understand-dynamics\">TCAN international collaboration funded by NASA<\/a>.
