I have worked for more than 20 years in the field of <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Numerical_relativity\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">numerical relativity<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Gravitational_wave\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">gravitational wave astronomy<\/a>. In particular I was the main developer of the fully general relativistic magnetohydrodynamic (GRMHD) codes\u00a0 WhiskyMHD and <a href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.5281\/zenodo.3689751\">Spritz<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I used these codes to study several astrophysical phenomena, such as gamma-ray bursts, binary neutron stars, and accretion processes on supermassive binary black hole mergers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can follow me on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/brunogiacomazzo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">LinkedIN<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am a former computational astrophysicist.
