I am a theoretical astrophysicist working in the field of numerical relativity and gravitational wave astronomy. In particular I am the main developer of the fully general relativistic magnetohydrodynamic (GRMHD) code  WhiskyMHD.

I use this code to study several astrophysical phenomena, such as gamma-ray bursts, binary neutron stars, and binary black hole mergers.

I am currently an associate professor at the Department of Physics of the University of Trento in Italy.

Jobs: I’m currently looking for a postdoc. More informations in the Jobs section.
