I am a numerical relativist interested in the numerical solution of the equations of general relativistic magnetohydrodynamics (GRMHD) that describe the physics of compact objects, such as neutron stars and black holes, in presence of magnetic fields. In particular I am one of the main developers of the fully general relativistic magnetohydrodynamic code Whisky and of the first complete exact Riemann solver for relativistic MHD. I am currently a postdoc in the Department of Astronomy at the University of Maryland (College Park, MD, USA) and at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (Greenbelt, MD, USA).
